Water-Damaged Server Not Recovered, Judges Faced with a Dilemma
The newspaper 'Joghvor' reports: 'The dire state of the judicial system continues. Not only has the judicial information system, datalex.am, been non-operational for months, but it's also unclear when it will start functioning again. Since yesterday, lawyers have faced a new problem. The issue is that criminal cases have entered the court, and lawyers spent the whole day trying to find out which judge has been assigned to which case. However, the judicial system explained that they cannot provide answers because there is no case allocation program.'
'Joghvor' has approached the Supreme Judicial Council to understand what issues have arisen with the case assignment program. The Supreme Judicial Council promised to respond.
It is worth noting that on July 24, 2024, the Supreme Judicial Council announced: 'On June 28, there was an incident in the Judicial Department building due to a water leak, which damaged the servers supporting the systems.' As a result, the water-damaged server has yet to be recovered, 'paralyzing' the legal sector.
