The Ministry of Internal Affairs Purchases 67 Electric SUVs: How Much Was Spent
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia has acquired electric SUVs for a total of 1 billion 3 million AMD. In total, the Ministry expects to receive 67 vehicles produced in 2024, each costing 19.7 million AMD.
The Ministry has signed a contract to purchase 67 Volvo EX40 vehicles from the 2024 production line. Each vehicle is priced at 19.7 million AMD.
The vehicles will be equipped with grills that separate the front from the rear of the cabin, grills for the rear door windows, and grills that separate the rear of the cabin from the cargo area. According to the technical specifications, the vehicle can be charged in a standard mode in 7 hours, and in fast charge mode, it takes 34 minutes. The SUVs will have a range of 450-476 km on a single charge.
