Information on Child Abduction in Malatia-Sebastia Denied

From early morning, Auroranews has been receiving reports from citizens about an attempted abduction of two children from a kindergarten in the Victory district of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative area, one of whom reportedly managed to escape.

To verify this information, Auroranews contacted Hayarpi Khachatryan, the director of kindergarten number 80 located in the Victory district. She denied the circulating information and assured that there have been no cases of child abduction reported in other educational establishments in the Victory district.

Officials from the Malatia-Sebastia municipality also confirmed to Auroranews that no such incident has occurred in the kindergartens under their jurisdiction. Additionally, the information was denied by both the media department of the Armenian police and the local police department.

The press office of Yerevan City Hall informed Auroranews that they have no information regarding abductions, and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports also denied the reports.
