The Death Toll in Lebanon Exceeds 1500: Current Situation

The number of victims from Israeli airstrikes in various regions of Lebanon has reached 1540, with 5400 civilians reported injured, according to a statement from the Lebanese Ministry of Health's emergency center.

"Since the start of Israeli strikes on Lebanon, 1540 people have died, and more than 5400 have been injured," the statement says. In the last 24 hours alone, 60 people have been killed and more than 80 injured due to Israeli attacks.

"Today, 77,100 refugees from the attacked areas have taken refuge in 565 temporary shelters," the report states.

In the last two days, 15,600 Syrians and over 16,100 Lebanese have crossed the border into Syria.

Israeli bombardments on Lebanon have continued today as well.
