VIDEO: Georgian Delegation Does Not Applaud Biden's Words Supporting Ukraine

The Georgian delegation, led by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, did not applaud U.S. President Joe Biden during his speech at the UN General Assembly regarding support for Ukraine, reports the Echo of the Caucasus project of Radio Liberty.

In his final speech at the UN General Assembly before the end of his term, Biden stated, “We will not waver in our support for Ukraine until Ukraine prevails and achieves lasting peace.” The Georgian delegation did not respond with applause to these remarks.

Earlier, it became known that President Joe Biden's administration declined to meet with the Georgian delegation and canceled the invitation for a meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili. This was reported by the Georgian publication Netgazeti, citing the U.S. embassy.
