Progress in Talks Between Hezbollah and Israel, Lebanese TV Reports
Progress has been made in ceasefire negotiations between Hezbollah and Israel, reports the Lebanese LBCI television channel, citing sources. The negotiations are being mediated by US Special Envoy Amos Hochstein regarding the situation in Lebanon.
The discussions are described as "promising," with potential results expected to be announced Thursday morning, the sources said. While the progress made so far is encouraging, the resolution of the conflict will largely depend on the actions taken by both sides in the coming hours and the developments on the ground, LBCI emphasizes.
Previously, Axios reported, citing several sources, that the US administration is working on a new diplomatic initiative aimed at halting the exchange of strikes between Israel and Hezbollah, as well as resuming negotiations over a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
