Israeli Airstrikes in Lebanon Claim 356 Lives

As a result of Israeli airstrikes initiated on September 23 in Lebanon, 356 people have lost their lives, according to the Lebanese Emergency Management Center affiliated with the Ministry of Health. Among the deceased are 24 children and 42 women. At least 1,246 individuals have been affected by the attacks, as reported by Al Jazeera.

On September 23, the Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Herzi Halevi, stated that the Israeli army is targeting the military infrastructure of Hezbollah in Lebanon, which has been built up over the last 20 years. He noted that the Israeli Defense Forces have commenced a preventive offensive operation in the region.
