Grigor Minasian's Days Are Numbered: 'Hraparak'

The days of Justice Minister Grigor Minasian seem to be numbered. According to our sources, the ruling party's faction is collecting signatures starting yesterday to call on Nikol Pashinyan to dismiss him. According to the party's charter, any official's dismissal can be discussed if one-third of the party addresses the leader. This means that if 24 signatures are gathered, the issue of the minister's removal will be discussed, but the final decision will rest with Pashinyan, who will determine the course of action regarding the party members' request.

This was reported by the 'Hraparak' newspaper. 'Around a dozen members of the ruling party had signed by noon yesterday, and they are confident that the necessary number will be gathered. From the very first day, the ruling party was against Minasian's appointment; some governing deputies even publicly expressed their dissatisfaction during that time. Last Thursday, during a party gathering, he was heavily criticized, with many speaking out against the 'disgrace' of appointing the brother of Serzh Sargsyan's son-in-law, Mikayel Minasian, to a high position, while he in turn is appointing other former officials to prominent posts. We remind you that this refers to Deputy Minister Sirvard Gevorgyan, who was a classmate of Kocharian's daughter.'
