102 Crimes Detected in Armenia in One Day

According to the summaries of operational reports from the police, law enforcement units in the Ministry of Internal Affairs uncovered 102 criminal cases over the course of September 23 to 24, two of which were previously committed.

Specifically, among the detected crimes were 33 cases of driving a vehicle by persons who are either deprived of their driving rights, have suspended rights, or do not have the right to drive; 10 cases of causing bodily harm; 8 cases related to physical coercion; and 7 cases each of fraud and drug discoveries. Additionally, 6 cases of personal property theft, 4 cases of psychological coercion, and 3 cases each of hooliganism and cultivation of prohibited drugs were recorded. Also noted were 2 cases of drug trafficking and improper handling of child care; and 1 case each of vehicle theft, illegal entrepreneurial activity, computer theft, abuse of official powers, confiscation of weapons and ammunition, failure to execute a court order, false accusation, document forgery, violation of labor protection regulations, illegal acquisition of personal property, breach of personal or family privacy, evasion of conscription, and sexual acts with minors under 16, as well as intentional bankruptcy and self-justice.

Among previously committed crimes, 2 cases of personal property theft were resolved. Three wanted individuals were detected, and one voluntarily presented themselves. During the same day, 13 road traffic incidents were recorded in the republic, resulting in 1 death and 17 individuals sustaining injuries of varying severity.
