Iranian President: We Have Never Approved of Russia's Aggression Against Ukraine

The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has denied reports about supplying ballistic missiles to Moscow, emphasizing that Tehran has never supported Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He made this statement to reporters in New York at the UN General Assembly, as reported by The Guardian.

Pezeshkian also expressed a willingness to negotiate with the West regarding the war in Ukraine. “We are ready to discuss the situation with the Europeans and Americans. We have never supported Russian aggression against Ukraine,” he stated.

During a press conference on September 16, when asked about the alleged missile deliveries, the president said, “Perhaps there have been such deliveries in the past. However, I can guarantee that there have been no such deliveries since I took office.”
