Former Supporter of Pashinyan Arrested in Russia
According to Tert.am, a former member of the Armenian Civil Contract Party, Tatul Asilyan, who was on the wanted list, was arrested in Russia two days ago.
The media outlet attempted to verify this information with the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Officials from the Ministry confirmed that the Russian side had informed them about the discovery of the wanted individual.
It is worth noting that Tatul Asilyan was an active supporter of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. He was a member of the party's board but was removed from the party on November 13, 2023. A warrant for his arrest was issued on May 31, based on Article 344, Part 2 of the Armenian Criminal Code.
