Erdogan States What Will Not Aid Armenian-Turkish Relations

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered a speech in New York during a dinner organized by the Turkish-American National Leadership Committee.
“You all know well what discomforts have arisen in the Turkish-American community. We must be vigilant against the mindset that seeks to poison the minds of our children and youth by filling school curricula with unfounded slanders. Your unity and coordination will allow American politicians to know the historical truth. The political use of questions that should be dealt with by historians and the use of various lobbies will not contribute to our efforts aimed at the normalization of both Turkish-American and Armenian-Turkish relations,” Erdogan stated.
