Any Provocation Can Be Expected from Armenia at Any Time: Aliyev

We are strengthening along the conditional border because at any moment we can expect any provocation from Armenia. This was stated today by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

According to him, western countries are supplying weapons and ammunition to Armenia. “The Armenian side is massively arming itself, simultaneously conducting exercises with foreign countries, including major powers,” Aliyev said.

The President of Azerbaijan also spoke about keeping the country's borders closed for several years now. “I can say with complete confidence that our closure of land borders in recent years has saved us from numerous large disasters. Even today, at a time when the borders are closed, dangerous actions are being taken that are being prevented,” Aliyev emphasized.
