In the 9th round of the Russian Premier League, Krasnodar faced Akron on the road and secured a victory with a score of 5-2. Eduard Spertsyan, the midfielder of the Armenian national team, made a significant contribution to his team's success by scoring a double in the 29th and 59th minutes.

In the previous round, Krasnodar also triumphed over Rostov with a 2-0 score thanks to Spertsyan's double.
