Major Accident in Yerevan: 7 Injured, 4 of Whom Are Children
On September 20, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 23:20, vehicles identified as 'Opel Astra' and 'Volkswagen Polo' collided at the intersection of Banishjaghyan and Shiraz streets, according to Shamshyan.com.
As a result of the accident, 7 individuals were injured, 4 of whom are children. The injured children were transported to the 'Holy Mother of God' medical center, while the others were taken to the 'Armenia' medical center.
Citizens were the first to provide assistance to the injured and, according to witnesses at the scene, rapid-response teams of the Yerevan 1-03 ambulance service arrived promptly and administered first aid to the victims before transporting them to hospitals.
An investigation has been initiated by the investigative department regarding the accident, which includes determining the identities of the drivers and the injured. By the investigator's directive, the vehicles have been relocated to the specialized area of the Police Department in Yerevan.
