Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated during a press briefing that she believes Yerevan is aware of Russia's position and is assessing such adventures realistically. Her comments came in response to the participation of Armenia's Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan in an online thematic conference on food security in the context of the "Peace Plan for Ukraine."

"Participants in such gatherings should understand that conflict resolution is impossible without Russia's involvement. First, individuals interested in food security should inquire how this issue is being addressed in their own country. Ninety percent of grain comes to Armenia from Russia. Perhaps you could connect with Russia through a video conference to discuss your food security. Well, that would be fair and respectful. Why act behind the backs of those who feed you and ensure your food security?" said Zakharova.
