VIDEO: At What Price Did HEC Transition to Samvel Karapetyan’s Sole Ownership? Andranik Kocharyan

“Recently, the power outages were so frequent and inexplicable that the public had doubts about whether there might be political reasons behind them. However, you excluded this possibility,” said MP Andranik Kocharyan from the ruling Civil Contract party during a discussion on power outages held in the National Assembly, addressing Garegin Baghramyan, the head of the Public Services Regulatory Commission.

The MP also inquired about the price at which HEC was acquired, noting, “It would be good for the owner of HEC to be present at the discussion. I am curious whether you are aware of the price at which the owner acquired the distribution network. What did HEC pass to Samvel Karapetyan for, as a sole property, before?” Kocharyan asked Baghramyan.

After receiving no satisfactory answer, the MP stated, “Please check with the owner what the acquisition price was and present it at one of our next meetings. I know what the price was.” More details in the video from Factor.am.
