Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Michael Roth, the Chairman of the Bundestag Foreign Relations Committee of Germany. This was reported by the press service of the government.

The Prime Minister welcomed Michael Roth's visit to Armenia and emphasized the importance of the consistent development and expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation with Germany. Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the need for continuous economic cooperation with Germany, noting that bilateral relations have been dynamic in recent years.

Michael Roth stressed the active and close cooperation with Armenia's parliamentary partners, adding that this collaboration also extends to international platforms.

They discussed issues related to Armenia-European Union relations and the progress of democratic reforms being implemented in the country. Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that the development of democracy and democratic reforms hold strategic significance for the Armenian Government, and actions in this direction will be consistent.

The discussion also touched on the negotiations regarding the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty, the boundary demarcation process between the two countries, as well as the Armenian Government's "Peace Junction" project aimed at unblocking regional transportation routes. The Prime Minister presented Armenia's principled positions on these topics.

They exchanged views on other regionally and internationally significant issues as well.
