The White House Considers Zelensky's Peace Plan Effective
The Biden administration has already reviewed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's proposed plan for ceasing the war in Ukraine and deemed it realistic, U.S. Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield said in an interview with Voice of America.
“We have seen President Zelensky’s peace plan. We believe it represents a strategy and a plan that can work. And we need to figure out how we can support that by connecting with all the world leaders who will be here in New York (during the UN General Assembly on September 22-23). So we hope to make some progress,” the ambassador stated.
It is worth noting that on September 16, Zelensky announced that Ukraine is finalizing the development of a 'victorious plan' for the war against Russia and will soon present it to its Western allies. “The necessary steps for Ukraine are already absolutely clear. What can give us the strongest position for approaching peace is a real, just world. More than 90% of everything is already written,” Zelensky said in a message to the Ukrainian people.
