Former MP's Son-in-Law Involved in Fatal Hit-and-Run of 3-Year-Old Child

On September 14, a tragic incident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 7:30 PM, Armavir resident 32-year-old Arman P., the son-in-law of the late former MP Hakob Hakobyan (also known as Choyt), struck 3-year-old Rafik M. with his "VAZ 2121" vehicle on T. Toromonyan Street in the village of Zvartnots.

Witnesses told ArmLur.am that the driver was accompanied by his wife. Upon exiting the vehicle, he immediately embraced the child. However, noticing the child's severely injured head, he horrifiedly placed him back on the ground and assisted in transporting the child to the Vagharsapat Medical Center. Unfortunately, the child had passed away before reaching the medical facility.

It is worth noting that Shamshyan.com had reported that a fatal hit-and-run incident took place in the Armavir region on September 14 at around 7:30 PM, involving the same driver and victim.
