When Armenia Ends Its Territorial Claims Against Azerbaijan in Its Constitution, a Peace Agreement Will Be Possible

Peace already exists in the region, but it is crucial for Armenia to end its territorial claims against Azerbaijan in its Constitution for a peace agreement to be reached. This statement was made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a phone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

“For the signing of the agreement, it is essential that Armenia formally ends its territorial claims against Azerbaijan through its Constitution and other legislative acts, as well as halts the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group and all related institutions, which are remnants of the past,” Aliyev said.

Ilham Aliyev noted the positive results achieved within the bilateral process and stated that this process will be carried out based on regulations.
