The preserved samples of the bronze statue of the goddess Anahit have been brought to the National Gallery. Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan discussed the relocation of the preserved samples of the bronze statue of Anahit during a live broadcast on Public Television.
“Today is a very symbolic day for us because we have the opportunity to open an international quality exhibition in our History Museum, and to implement that collaboration with one of the world's most prestigious museums, the British Museum. Women have a special significance in the development of our statehood. I hope the opening of the exhibition on Independence Day will allow for that important conversation,” the minister stated, expressing her hope that there would be lines at the museum to see this important exhibition.
She also informed that the centerpiece will be the bronze statue of the goddess Anahit, but there will be multiple exhibits, and she expressed hope that this will be one of the major events in Armenian cultural life.
