VIDEO: More than 500 immigrants detained in Russia, some expelled

The law enforcement agencies in Krasnoyarsk have carried out a large-scale raid in the areas of markets. This has been reported by the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The operations took place at the commercial points of the "Southern" and "Luch" markets. Specialists from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other departments inspected the local staff for compliance with migration legislation. During the inspections, 520 foreign nationals were brought to Police Station No. 1 by the law enforcement officers.

As a result, epithelial samples were taken from all individuals to check their involvement in criminal activities. A total of 24 administrative reports were prepared against the foreigners, including violations of stay regime in Russia and illegal employment activities. Additionally, it was discovered that some foreign nationals were registered under false identities.

Due to serious violations, seven individuals will be expelled from the territory of the Russian Federation.
