The leader of the opposition bloc 'Mother Armenia', Andranik Tevanyan, has visited the Donetsk People's Republic for the first time with a delegation and met with local parliamentarians. According to RIA Novosti, during a joint consultation, members of the Armenian delegation and the DPR parliamentarians emphasized the importance of developing relations between the two countries and exchanged views on preventing negative developments in Armenia similar to those seen in Ukraine.
“This is an unprecedented visit because no political delegation from Armenia had visited before; we are sending a message that there are forces in Armenia that support the strengthening of Armenian-Russian relations,” Tevanyan told reporters.
