Suspect in Trump Assassination Attempt Faces Up to 20 Years in Prison
Former U.S. President Donald Trump’s assassination attempt suspect faces up to 20 years in prison and a $500,000 fine for violating firearm possession regulations.
“The plaintiff respectfully informs the court that Ryan Wesley Ruth may have probable cause for charges due to the convicted felon's violation of laws related to the possession of firearms and ammunition,” reads a statement directed to the Florida court by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which is conducting the investigation.
