Putin Significantly Increased Armed Forces Personnel

Russian President Vladimir Putin has increased the staffing levels of the country's armed forces. This information was reported by lenta.ru.

The total number of personnel in the Russian army has risen by nearly 180,000, bringing it to 2,389,000 personnel. The presidential decree will come into effect on December 1, 2024.

Putin has also instructed the Russian government to allocate funds from the federal budget necessary for the implementation of the decree.
