Illegal Drugs Found on Employee of the Central Bank of Armenia
Shamshyan.com reports that on September 12, a case of illegal drug possession and use was uncovered in Yerevan. Around 23:45, police officers from the Patrol Service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, under the command of the company commander Arsen Stepanyan and deputy commander David Nikoghosyan, detained a 31-year-old resident of Yerevan, Sargis G., near Acharian 2nd alley on suspicion of drug possession and use.
During a personal search of Sargis G., two paper packages weighing a total of 1.93 and 1.43 grams, filled with a greenish substance and traces of ash, along with two droppers, were found. Already in the police station, Sargis G. stated that the substance found was marijuana, which he had obtained through the Telegram app for personal use.
According to the same source, Sargis G. informed police officers that he works as an engineer at the Central Bank of Armenia.
