Russia Supports Unblocking of Communications Based on Principles of Armenian Sovereignty: Ovechuk

The Russian Federation advocates for regional communications based on the principles of the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction of the Republic of Armenia.

Today in Akhtala, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Ovechuk made this statement during a conversation with reporters about the unblocking of communication routes.

"Unblocking is possible within the framework of the agreements that the leaders of the three countries have been able to reach, which were expressed in the joint statement of November 9-10, 2020. As you know, Russia is always ready to join this process and assist based on the principles of the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and jurisdiction of the Republic of Armenia," said the Russian Deputy Prime Minister.

It is worth noting that in September 2022, Ovechuk also stated that the control of the road is exercised by the country through which it passes.
