Police Discover Approximately 30 Packages of Drugs in Yerevan

As part of the operation "You Can't Hide in the Underworld Either", police in Yerevan have found about 30 packages of a large quantity of crystal-type narcotics near the director of "Talaniko Global" LLC. There are also detainees involved.

On September 13, operational information was received by the first battalion of the patrol service of the police of the Republic of Armenia that two individuals were engaged in the illegal distribution of narcotics in Yerevan. According to Shamshyan, the police verified this information and learned that the suspects were located near the cemeteries adjacent to Fanarjan Street.

The patrol team found the suspects at the specified location, and a personal search of one of them revealed 30 packages wrapped in blue, green, and red adhesive tape, weighing a total of 73.55 grams. According to sources, one of the detainees, 28-year-old Nasif Anshrafin, admitted that there was another similar package on the ground. The police collected that package as well.

After the discovery, Nasif Anshrafin and his associate, 26-year-old Sagar Santhosh, were escorted to the Kanaker-Zeytun division of the police on direct suspicion of illegal drug possession, use, purchase, and distribution.
