The Yerevan Municipality can provide a thousand reasons and justify itself with the unprecedented rainfall and thunderstorms, but the existing and eye-catching problems are not caused by natural disasters but are a result of human foolishness, poorly made decisions, and negligence. In Yerevan, no work is being monitored, and no reports are appropriately made, as they are in the forty-first place and are subordinated to programs dedicated to quickly and covertly squandering taxpayers' money.

The brutal construction and concrete pouring in the capital, which is located in a seismic zone, the half-completed restoration of sidewalks and streets, the heaps of mud around tiles and manholes, and the black knots of cables and electrical wires have become part of our daily lives. The central greening of Republic Square will once again compel a staff of over 70 members who will quarrel and curse at each other with traditional exaggeration. Workers will cut thick cables not with proper tools but with ordinary hatchets, frightening passing tourists. We may blow up a building in broad daylight right in the center of a residential area, causing people, especially children, to suffer from stress for a long time. But all this is nothing. The most important thing is the cheerful and rosy-cheeked appearance of the municipal department heads and placing their own organisms in expensive suits and even more expensive cars.
