Doctor Attacked in Yerevan
Today, September 14, at approximately 11:30 AM, the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia received operational information that a doctor had been assaulted at the "Mikaelyan Institute of Surgery." According to Shamshyan.com, it was revealed that at around 11:20 AM, in the mentioned medical center, the 72-year-old patient's grandson, K.V., struck the 46-year-old doctor, Vahagn Kh., with his fist. As a result, the doctor lost his balance and fell, resulting in a fracture in the shoulder area of his right arm.
Documents regarding the incident have been prepared at the Kanaker-Zeytun Police Department and forwarded to the investigative division of the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Yerevan city for the Kanaker-Zeytun area, where a criminal case has been initiated in connection with the incident. Police are searching for K.V.'s grandson, whose motive for the assault stemmed from the news of his grandmother's death.
