Kim Jong Un Plans to Increase Production of Materials for Nuclear Weapons

The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, has visited a nuclear weapons institute and a facility for the production of nuclear materials for atomic weapons, according to Voice of Korea radio.

It has been reported that Kim Jong Un became acquainted with the production of nuclear warheads and nuclear materials. He also outlined "important issues in the long-term plan for increasing the production of nuclear materials for nuclear weapons." During the visit, the North Korean leader emphasized the necessity of further increasing the number of centrifuges to exponentially augment nuclear weapons for self-defense, in accordance with the party line for the creation of nuclear armed forces, as reported by the South Korean news agency Yonhap, citing the Korean Central News Agency.
