It’s Quite Normal for Citizens to Wait 1-2 Months for CT or MRI, Says Minister

No resources have been exhausted. At this moment, we do not have any program that requires appointment scheduling longer than 1 month. This statement was made by Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan during a conversation with reporters after a government session, addressing citizens' complaints about the depletion of state orders.

She mentioned that she didn’t know who had expressed dissatisfaction but indicated that if specific grievances were voiced, then they could better understand the nature of the complaints.

In response to comments regarding people needing to wait 1-2 months for MRIs and CT scans, Avanesyan said, “Yes, that is quite normal. Currently, patients are not waiting for even two months; the waiting period is up to one month.”
