Armenian Women's Chess Team Secures Second Victory at World Olympiad

The Armenian women's chess team achieved their second victory at the World Olympiad taking place in Budapest, Hungary. In the second round, the Armenian chess players defeated the team from Mexico.

Victories were claimed by Lilit Mkrtchyan, Elina Danielyan, and Anna Sargsyan, while Mariam Mkrtchyan's match has not yet concluded. In the first round, the Armenian team had suffered a 4:0 defeat against the team from Trinidad and Tobago.
