Truck Overturns on Kapan-Kajaran Road, Casualties Reported

On September 11, at 16:09, the crisis management center of the Syunik regional rescue service received a report that an accident occurred on the Kapan-Kajaran highway, requiring the assistance of rescuers.

Two fire-fighting and rescue teams from the regional rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene, as reported by the Ministry’s rescue service.

It was revealed that a "SHACMAN" brand truck (driver: H.K., born in 1993) overturned on the 10th kilometer of the Kapan-Kajaran highway, causing a fuel leak.

Before the rescuers arrived, the driver and a passenger, S.H. (born in 1984), were assisted by local forces out of the vehicle and transported to a medical center. Doctors have reported their health condition as satisfactory.

The rescuers carried out the necessary cleaning operations on the highway.
