Video: The Investigative Committee Publishes Footage of the Explosion at the Inactive "Hrazhdjek" Foundry
The Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal proceeding concerning the explosion at the inactive "Hrazhdjek" LLC foundry, which resulted in tragic consequences. This was reported by the Investigative Committee itself.
The Kotayk regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee received a report from the Ministry of Emergency Situations indicating that on September 10, an explosion occurred at the inactive "Hrazhdjek" LLC foundry, resulting in casualties. According to the current available data, six individuals have sustained varying degrees of bodily injuries. They have been transferred to the "Hrazdan" Medical Center, where one of them has died.
A criminal proceeding has been initiated under Article 355, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code (violating safety rules during construction, mining, or other activities that negligently lead to a person's death or severe consequences). An investigative group has been formed, which, under the leadership of the head of the Kotayk regional investigative department, is on-site and conducting necessary initial urgent investigative actions. The circumstances and causes of the incident are being clarified.
The Investigative Committee will later publish essential information regarding the interim results of the investigation.
