Three Members of Yerevan City Council have Their Powers Terminated

The Yerevan City Council has prematurely terminated the powers of Anush Ginoyan and Anuysh Khudaverdyan, members of the "Public Voice" faction. Part of the opposition boycotted and did not participate in the vote.

Vahan Avagyan, the leader of the "Public Voice" faction, initiated the call for the termination of Ginoyan and Khudaverdyan's powers. He emphasized that it is time for individuals who are not present to leave the council's ranks. He also noted that the mentioned council members had been absent from more than half of the convened council sessions; therefore, according to the law, their powers should be terminated.

The powers of Grigor Yeritsyan, the leader of the "National Progress" faction in the Yerevan City Council, have also been prematurely terminated.
