The Bishop Will Stay on the Street and Wander for a Long Time, I Take Great Pleasure in It: Parliament Speaker
Today's opposition is a gift from our God, and I am grateful to today's opposition for their existence and their work. This was stated by Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly today.
According to him, if they were to invent the most suitable opposition for themselves, it is unlikely that they could come up with a better one.
In response to the remark that he might be the one inventing it, the Parliament Speaker replied, “I don’t think Robert Kocharian and Serzh Sargsyan would agree that we are inventing them.”
When asked about Bishop Bagrat, he emphasized, “Oh, I absolutely enjoy everything that is happening. Bishop Bagrat will stay on the street and wander for a long time. I don’t know how it will end, but I take great pleasure in it.”
