Russia Estimates Number of Ukrainian Armed Forces
Kiev has approximately four brigades available in its armed forces, according to Abti Alaudinov, the deputy head of the Chief Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces. “They have certain resources left. That means we are recording this resource. We know that they still have up to four brigades, and, as they say, equipment for these brigades as well,” said the commander of the 'Akhmat' special forces unit in an interview with TASS.
He noted that Russian troops are observing where and how this personnel is being deployed. Additionally, Alaudinov revealed that the special operations forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been leading the opposing group’s strike forces in the Kursk direction. He clarified that fighters have been mobilized alongside foreign mercenaries over the past 3-4 months.
