Armenian Defense Ministry Responds to Azerbaijani Claims

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's statement alleging that on September 4 at 19:35, Armenian Armed Forces opened fire toward Azerbaijani positions in the southwestern border area does not correspond to reality.

It is worth noting that the Prime Minister's Office of the Republic of Armenia has proposed establishing a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to investigate violations of the ceasefire regime and/or reports related to such incidents, to which Azerbaijan has thus far not responded.
