Discussion on Launching Direct Flights from Yerevan to Los Angeles and New York

The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure is discussing the possibility of starting direct flights from Yerevan to Los Angeles and New York. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan during a session of the National Assembly.

“We have had discussions regarding direct flights from Yerevan to Los Angeles and New York. Currently, there are certain legislative issues that need to be understood, including questions about codes, the feasibility of conducting flights through the European Union airspace, and numerous technical questions that need answers. However, I believe we will make progress in this direction as well,” Simonyan stated.
