Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Claims Armenia is Trying to Shorten Peace Agreement Text

Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry has stated that Armenia is attempting to shorten the text of the peace agreement with Azerbaijan without agreeing on a number of contentious points. “About 80% of the document has been agreed upon, but some points are still not settled. However, this does not mean that, as proposed by Yerevan, all contentious issues should be removed from the draft document and signed,” the Azerbaijani agency reported.

Meanwhile, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has announced that Yerevan has provided Baku with the fully agreed text of the agreement. “Armenia has submitted the tenth editorial version of the peace agreement draft to Azerbaijan. Currently, the draft includes the entire agreed text, fully agreed articles, or agreed parts of the articles,” TASS cited him as saying.
