Alexander Petrakov on the Match Against North Macedonia
The Armenian national team will compete against North Macedonia on September 10 as part of the UEFA Nations League’s second round. The head coach of the Armenian national team, Alexander Petrakov, shared his thoughts on the upcoming match:
“What changes will there be in the upcoming game... We still have time; today is the pre-match training, and we are also analyzing the data to develop our team’s strategy for tomorrow’s game. We are doing a lot of work, and the players are improving their skills from match to match. I am very happy that we have a player like Haroyan (he could play his 85th match for the national team tomorrow). I am pleased with his performance and approach to training and games. The same can be said for Hovhannisyan, Chancharevich, and Chalashuri. I value their presence in the national team. Everything is fine with Nair Tiknizyan; he is ready for tomorrow’s match.
The North Macedonian national team is a high-level team. We have analyzed them and watched their games. We are preparing for tomorrow's match and know our opponent. We are very satisfied with Bichakhchyan’s physical condition. I spoke with Vahan back in June, and I am pleased with the outcome of that conversation. Serobyan played in a slightly unusual position but had a very good match, while Shaghoyan sharpened the game when he came on as a substitute. I am not dissatisfied with anyone,” said Petrakov during the pre-match press conference.
