The Existence of Azerbaijan is a Constant Threat to Armenia and Regional Peace and Sustainable Development
The artificial entity known as Azerbaijan poses a real problem, its existence being a constant threat to Armenia and regional peace and sustainable development. This was stated by Iran expert Vardan Voskanyan.
“By failing to recognize the nature and essence of Baku’s barbaric ruling regime, we continue to believe that there are separate issues regarding the Artsakh problem, demarcation and delimitation, and other 'local' issues. This approach is fundamentally wrong and does not withstand any criticism, as, for instance, after the complete occupation of Artsakh and the ethnic cleansing carried out there, the demands against Armenia have not ceased. Even after concessions and the occupation of Armenian territories in Syunik, Tavush, and Gegharkunik, the blatant aspirations against us continue in this manner.”
“Meanwhile, the actual problem is the artificial entity called Azerbaijan with its dictatorial and anti-human regime, whose very existence in this form and structure represents a constant threat to Armenia and regional peace and sustainable development. Therefore, the core agenda for the development and strengthening of our state in Armenia should be formed based on the main premise that the key obstacle to that development and strengthening is Azerbaijan itself with its barbaric regime. In other words, we must recognize the issue of Azerbaijan as existing; only by addressing it can we ensure the dignified development and strengthening of our statehood and the realization of its sacred purpose that has come from centuries of history.”
