Weather Update: Rain, Wind, and Rising Temperatures
From the afternoon of September 7 and the night of September 8, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in certain regions of the Republic of Armenia. On September 9 and 11, dry weather is forecasted. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
The wind will be coming from the southwest at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with gusts of 18-22 m/s anticipated during thunderstorms.
The air temperature is expected to gradually rise by 3-6 degrees Celsius from September 8-11. In Yerevan, brief rain and thunderstorms are also expected in the evening hours of September 7 and 10, with gusts of wind reaching 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms. The afternoon of September 8, 9, and 11 is predicted to be dry.
In the capital, daytime temperatures on September 7 will range from 29-31 degrees, while evening temperatures will record between +22 and +24 degrees.
