The 42 Million Euro Armenia vs. The 10 Million Euro Latvia

According to the "Transfermarket" magazine, on September 7, the Armenian national team will face Latvia in the first round of the UEFA Nations League in Yerevan. The total transfer value of the 26 footballers called up to the Armenian national team is €41.85 million. The most expensive player in our squad is Edvard Spertsyan, a midfielder from FC Krasnodar, whose transfer value is €20 million.

In contrast, the total transfer value of the 26 players called up to the Latvia national team is only €9.5 million. Latvia's most expensive player is defender Kris Tobers from FC Grasshopper, whose transfer value is €1 million.

In the current FIFA rankings, Armenia sits at 97th place, while Latvia is ranked 137th.
