Toivo Klaar Concludes Mission as EU Special Representative in the South Caucasus

Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, is concluding his mission in this role. He announced this on his social media page.

"Today is my last day as the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus. A lot has happened since I started working almost 7 years ago, in November 2017. However, one thing remains unchanged: the EU's commitment to helping our neighbors in the region achieve sustainable and just peace," he wrote.

Klaar will be succeeded in this position by Magdalena Grono.
