Armenia Transfers 10th Package of Peace Agreement to Azerbaijan

On September 1, during the Globsec conference held in Prague, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Costanyan participated in a panel discussion titled "Armenia and the EU: Priorities, Partnerships, and Paths Forward." In his address, the Deputy Foreign Minister touched upon Armenia's foreign policy, emphasizing the importance of diversification aimed at protecting the sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia, international borders, and democracy.

Within the context of cooperation with the EU, Vahan Costanyan underscored the active political dialogue established between Armenia and EU member states, highlighting the significant prospects for deepening partnerships both bilaterally and within the EU framework. He expressed satisfaction with the current dynamics of Armenia-EU relations and emphasized the importance of enhancing Armenia-EU cooperation and establishing a new agenda aimed at strengthening Armenia's resilience and implementing democratic reforms.

The importance of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Armenia and the EU and its implementation in addressing socio-economic challenges was also highlighted. Regional developments were also discussed, with the Deputy Minister praising the role of the EU monitoring mission in ensuring security and stability in the region.

Regarding the normalization process of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Vahan Costanyan stated that Armenia has transferred the 10th package of the peace agreement to the Azerbaijani side. The Deputy Foreign Minister reaffirmed Armenia's readiness to establish peace in the South Caucasus and the region.

He presented the "Peace Crossroads" program developed by the Armenian government, reiterating Armenia's commitment to opening regional communication routes based on the principles of sovereignty, legality, reciprocity, and equality.
