Putin Maintains Control Over Situation in Certain Regions of Russia: Peskov

The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, is personally overseeing all issues related to social security in regions where the situation is tense, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.
“Of course, in those regions where the situation is tense, the president is effectively maintaining personal control over all matters related to social security,” Peskov stated.
