In Yerevan, particularly in the Kentron administrative district, the air quality index (AQI) has reached 500, which is considered a dangerous level of air pollution.

This situation is a consequence of the lack of tree planting in Yerevan, deforestation, and large-scale construction activities being carried out without adhering to appropriate norms.

It is worth noting that air quality is deemed satisfactory, and air pollution poses little or no danger if the air quality index (AQI) is up to 50, while currently, in Yerevan, it has reached 500.
